For example, in a project with a framework that both the full and beta versions of an app share, Xcode Previews automatically picks the app to launch for previews based on the selection in the scheme. This resulted in it throw a wobbly about something later on in the script. Xcode Previews can now use the scheme’s runnable when deciding which app to use for hosting a preview. Essentially this other script was calling xcodebuild with the -showBuildSettings command and was getting the path to the derived data wrong, but only on command line builds.
